I believe those reviewers are too sensitive. The book is organized in a similar format and basically you get 99 good tips in one book rather than 50 or 35 from the other books.

Cons

In gotcha unnecessary cleverness is a common problem with c++ programmers. Many practices preached in this book are questionable.
