Pros

The trs-25 is an excellent deal from a company that has a pretty good reputation for producing quality, reliable optics. I am highly impressed with my $70. The glass is decent quality. If you just want a decent red dot optic, this gets my vote.

At 50 yards offhand, ten shots on a paper target can be covered with my hand. Mounted on a 10/22 ruger, excellent product, high quality. Got this for my cva muzzle loading *.

Easy to mount, easy to sight in, and appears to be built out of quality materials. Installed a replacement battery and took it outside aiming at a white garage door directly reflecting full sunlight. Still using original battery.

Brightness is remarkable for all the settings. Dot is clearly visible in the daylight and at night. The only downside is the brightness, it * on bright sunny day.

Cons

Current version of this model appears much cheaper and flimsy. Fired again - gonzo. Qc isn't what it used to be with bushnell.

The lens is crooked. Unfortunately it appears my only recourse is to go through factory warranty.

New model is mounted on a 10/22, this new model is only good for plinking. Top right part of the scope glass has a visible defect.

The sight uses a single cr2032 battery which lasts a remarkable amount of time

Initial assessmentpros great fit for a ruger pc carbine

I would prefer if bushnell would include a higher mount option like on the sig romeo
