Cons it does need direct sunlight and it better be a good day outside and even then it takes 20 sum hours of direct sunlight to charge the device up all the way which will give you one full phone charge

Doesnt fully charge my xperia phone but if its at 60 battery it does charge to 100

Loveing it got it for backpacking and now im using it daily can charge a phone easy charged my gpad decently if you want the battery to charge gotta turn of unit or just plug in and use it for extended life it does take 10 hrs to charge but since you can just hang it off you pack while on the move its not bad
