Pros

The kobalt 82515 is very light, strong, and durable. It has a seamless insert and supported beam for handle.

This one has a welded gusset and much thicker *. The shovel is everybit as well made as the bulb planter. Carves through clay dirt like butter.

Once sharp, it's a joy to use. I wish it was sharper right out of the box, but that can be fixed easily enough with a flat file and 10 minutes of spare time. I believe these tool will last and are the kind you can pass down in your family.

Cons

The blade is almost flat and very rounded without much point. I really want to buy domestic products but stuff like this is discouraging. It's so absurdly heavy! Covered in scuffs and glue drips and sloppy welds.
