Pros

Works flawlessly after more than a year after the purchase. Works really well and no problems or coasters so far. As with all these slim optical burners, the tray feels a bit flimsy.



Cons

Been looking around a while for a bluray reader but this one is also a writer awsome


Tested using bluray dvd and music cd all working fine


Burned a full 25gb bdr disk in 31 minutes


So far ive managed to burn a few 25gb discs as well as a 50gb one

    The software that it apparently comes with didn’t work with me on my mac air not an issue for dvds but for blu ray i needed to buy a separate program

    I have tested them all in my ps3 or ps4 whichever was switched on at the time and every single disc has burned successfully

    The y cable itself is simply a micro usb cable connected via a usb 3
