Pros & Cons
Pros
Great switch. Works like there is no tomorrow. Zero issues. This one rivals any of them. I like this though i've rarely seen switches fail.
I greatly prefer switches with metal cases to the cheaper, plastic-cased switches. I prefer internal power supplies, but the external brick will help keep the switch cool, so it is okay. The fact that buffalo stands behind the product is awesome too.
The switch has the port placement so even bolted to the wall there is enough room to squeeze the release tabs on the lan cables facing the wall. The green lan interfaces is a plus and will save power for lan signaling.
The buffalo bs-gu2008p 8-port gigabit green poe switch is a business class device and solidly made. The switch is generally a good quality unmanaged poe switch. It is a well-made 8-port gigabit switch with 6 poe ports in a solid metal chassis.
Cons
Quality is not there and support is apparently non-existent. There is a chat icon on their page but no agents available. Two ports are dead within first month of usage.

I do like how much info there with the front leds
Price
I got this from amazon warehouse for a very good price
My only real complaint about it is that for this price i think it should be using the ieee 802
30w is lower than many other 8 port poe office switches with a similar price point
Shipping
The switch is wirespeed which means it can move traffic as fast as it can be pushed over the individual lan cables
Packaging/appearance
Whats in the boxthe switch comes well packaged with ample padding
Worked great right out of the box
Competitiveness
I like that this is a fanless design
I wish buffalo had allowed for 10w per port like the 16 port version of this switch some competitors 8 port poe switches
