I would not recommend this machine to beginners because i do not see why anyone who does not yet know how to sew would need a machine this nice

It really is a good machine even if it doesnt have all the bells and whistles fancy stitches

The real joy is is this is a high shank industrialstyle machine and there are dozens of industrial presser feet available that should make the stitching look less home made
