Also initially the fan was so sensitive to heat in the kitchen that even when i was not cooking it would turn on

It seemed like when i manually turned it off the heat sensor no longer kicked on

After id had it about a couple weeks i had to keep pressing the fan button 5 or 6 times to get it to come on
