This is a well-made unit, and looks good in my 8-foot bathroom ceiling.

First off, it took my electrician less than 45 minutes to install including ceiling prep, wiring and everything.

Our old fan heater felt more "cooling" than "warming" since even warmer air blowing over damp skin creates an evaporative cooling effect.

Price

Even with a professional electrician, you're toasty for about $250 all in!

It's a great price for a good heat lamp.

I wanted my bathroom warmer, but did not want a space heater sitting around, nor did i want to spend $$ on in floor heating.
