This is convenient when you are plugging in devices in the dark. This is my 3rd, and best, of 2 different american brand chinese manufactured inverters purchased for under $1,000 in the past 8 years. It does everything else very nicely.
No more struggling with hand cranking. Super clean unit, even after living outside on my boat deck for over a year. Just got this last week and already had a chance to use it for a couple hours during a short power outage.
The electric start is an awesome feature but even the recoil start is pretty easy. The automatic choke is nice. Although pull starting this unit is super easy, nothing beats the push of a button.

No real solid structure for passing a lock/chain through for locking-down the generator. Getting warranty service on this generator is a nightmare.
Spark plug was gaped at the factory at 0. The thing vibrates so hard my plugs were sliding out and melting the outlets.
Disappointed so far. Still in the shop.
The casing is not mouse/rodent proof. Prevent ready access from cleaning nesting from the inside of the engine. Started getting a strong smell of gas like it was flooded.

Put in fresh with the additives and no issues
The rubber lip around the cap helps prevent gas overflow causing any problems with the generator3
The instruction manual says to open the front panel and flick the choke over to start it with the pull handle
But they stood up for their product

Also i went with a 5w30 synthetic for oil as per owners manual it is what is recommended when in higher hear areasphoenix az
It is signifantly quieter than a conventional generator but not as quiet as a comparable honda invertor

So after adding the oil and everything youre supposed to do per the instructions i realized the battery was dead i pulled the recoil it started maybe the second time

Although during one attempt the inrush current of the ac unit overloaded the unit but it got going the other times

I think in quiet mode it had a hard time throttling up to match the load and thats when it overloaded
