She was afraid it would take up too much space because she has big heavy books and her ipad laptop and other things she needs to be on campus all day

Plus berkeley is a big campus and she walks a lot not just to classes but to her apartment and around the city after school but she says its not heavy enough to notice the difference and it doesnt take up much more space

Unfortunately you cant really use it as a standalone case

The picture show the calculator face up but if you do that you risk the buttons being pressed and it turning on or getting rubbed on and damaged

So you have to still put the normal hard case on top of the button

The calculator wont be held inside this case well so you will need to take the calculator out of this protective case to use it which risks damaging it if it falls kind of counter intuitive to what i would imagine a protective case doing
