The coat seems to be made of sturdy material, and is lined inside with a soft, furry type of material. The big size is got is a must for me. I hope it’ll last him as long as his last coat did. It has lots of pockets.

It's not thick, but will be plenty warm for him, as he's pretty warm blooded. Not to heavy or cumbersome but warm enough. It sheds water great and is quiet warm.

Need wear hooded sweatshirt underneath. One is inside. Plenty of room to add hoodies or sweat shirts or both.

One armpit is full on ripped out. The hem is about 74 inches around. Weird, unnecessary stitching/tufting at the elbows of the sleeves.

The coat over all is very light weight and the sleeves are very thin and do not provide much warmth. The sleeves have zero insulation in them, so on a mild 45° f night, i can feel the cold!
