It is an incredible investment if you view it from a financial perspective. I hope this will helps you to decide (or not) to buy them. Thanks bose for the great customer service.
These sound like the oe2's on steroids - much cleaner and sweet. Bose is the best in stereo sound, professionally recorded in the studio. Sound/nr vs. Sound quality is very good but not $350 level of good.
They are amazing on a plane with the exception of voices. Stewardesses, pilots and other passengers can be heard easily. The battery life is more than adequate. I am sure they will be serviceable when the time comes.
The noise canceling is really amazing. The noise cancellation feature is more than adequate. Bose uses their own proprietary technology to electronically identify and reduce ambient noise.
They lean to the warm side of neutral - warm and fat with big rich bass and nice treble and mids but still with that signature bose sound which is a natural warm and to some muffled sound. Yes it is true the basses are a bit overturn but i love them t... Read More
Cons
The resistance to honoring their warranty that i have encountered is extraordinary. The extra $200 is all illusion from the ads.
Music playback suffers as a result with a very ordinary sound stage that seems muted.
Using it 3 times a month for 3 years is not exactly that much, even if it's for a max of 20 hours worth of flights. This equates to about 45 min a day. If the battery dies you are * they are useless.
There are others that are much lighter. The pressure is simply too much. Really * me off.

Because of the high price tag im only giving them 4 out of 5 stars i dont think theyre quite worth 350 250 seems more in the right ballpark
You dont have to get a bose credit card you just pay 50 and agree to have the remaining balance charged monthly for the terms you want
They are way out of warranty sir and please spend 350 on a new pair
No these will not give you anywhere near the sound of the big guys but for 349 for what they do they are remarkable

The active noise cancellation in this is just as excellent as youd expect considering the brand and the price but i was honestly more surprised by the passive cancellation

Battery life is reasonable but it came without the original bose battery in which i was aware of at the time i purchased them
