I wanted to like the gll250 which has a far superior mount and a brighter laser but that unit will only lock one line at a time when off level without flashing so that model came off my list

The pendulum on the gll215 does lock with both lines displayed without flashing just like the 40

As with all line lasers the apparent width of the laser does change depending on what you are targetting

You can also disable the 30 minute auto shutoff like the 50 although it is undocumented
