With tougher sticks it is temporarily noisier than that. This is unavoidable given how it works so wear ear plugs or defenders! Only gripe (and word of caution) is the model designation.

Product uses a turbine that rarely jams and can take almost any type of garden waste. Arrived instantly as always with prime so down to work processing garden trimmings. It really has the most satisfying chomp chomp when you feed it.

It shreds rather than chips, so it makes course sawdust. Which is a shame as i wanted to make a mulch from those. The new shredder is fine for anything soft like leaves but useless for much more than twigs.
