Pros

Bought this to tackle my overgrown garden. Powerful, cuts through brambles and undergrowth with ease. If you want something to eat tough undergrowth then this deserves serious consideration.

Afs 23-37 is a solid, dependable strimming machine, with a good thick cord that stays the distance. Having a good strimmer like this actually makes tidying up an overgrown garden a pleasure rather than a chore. In fact this strimmer is easily as good ...  Read More

It is much more powerful than i expected. It has a huge reach i. More importantly, though. It's powerful but heavy.

Reassuringly heavy without being burdensome. A bit weighty but certainly bearable, thanks to the shoulder strap. The shoulder strap is essential and the handle and leg guard easy to fix and adjust so that the strimmer is perfectly balanced, even so, i...  Read More

Cons

The screw threatds are not well milled. Gear failure after 2 garden cuts. Won't be buying it again or recommending it either.

With the blade attached did the job no problem, i would definitely recommend this strimmer.

Don’t bother with the standard strimmers with plastic lines - been there, done that and i won’t go back.

(do my lwn with the 36 bosch rotak - again supreme bit of kit!

Price

Worth the price, a gardener would charge easily 4xits price for the job.

Packaging/appearance

Also the head of the strimmer can get quite hot even after a few minutes of use.

I’m only just over 5’ and it seems this strimmer was designed for a much taller and stronger person.

Competitiveness

It is a lot better than a normal strimmer and perder the for cutting back over grown gardens.

It is quite long and heavy compared to the average strimmer and a bit too much for edging.

However, it is much more than a strimmer, it’s a ‘bush whacker’ and needs to be used as such, otherwise it’ll take much more than intended.

Superb, powerful strimmer that has made incredibly light work of the hardest tasks.
