Pros & Cons
Pros
I am pleasantly surprised at the quality of this saw. This saw is the centerpiece of my workshop. This * work-site unit fits the bill nicely.
It's fine from the blade to the farthest the fence can go until you have to extend the table. The adjustable rip fence can be a little balky as it can stick and stutter a little.
It is a great saw but not everyone will experience perfection unpacking and setting it up. The place i bought mine carries all major brands and caters to pros.
Riving knife is included. It is height adjustable to preset heights. The fence on the * adjusts easily and smoothly.
The motor has plenty of power and rips through everything i've thrown at it so far. With a 15 amp motor it has more than enough power for most jobs. The soft start feature is a nice perk that i think will extend the life of the motor.
Cons
Assembly instructions aren't all that good - a bit more explanation would have speeded the process. The gravity stand is a cumbersome beast that requires attachment of the saw to the stand with four bolts. And not rattly loose, either, but spongy loos... Read More
The locking lever for the blade angle is awkward - especially when you try to loosen it. But the very same saw runs @ 15 amps.
The saw is made in taiwan. There is simply no excuse for such lousy craftsmanship on a tool that is price pointed where this one is. I am a licensed contractor with over fifteen years in the trades and this tool is the biggest lemon i have ever purcha... Read More
I'm past the thirty day return window so it's a brand new saw going in for repair.
The ripping fence also shows cost-cutting - rather than gear controlled, you clamp and un-clamp it and slide it to position it. The working surface is pretty small from front-to-back, whereas it expands nicely to the right to accommodate wider pieces ... Read More

Quality
Over all i am pleasantly surprised at the quality of this saw and really like the gravity stand
This has saved me a lot of time and improved the quality of my work
In the end i went with this one because of the sturdiness of the stand and the quality of the rip fence
It still throws some sawdust even with the vac running
Price

Shipping
Only one gripe and that could be as a result of shipping
Packaging/appearance
I was able to use the saw pretty much out of the box
Competitiveness
Its been a 27 yearlong drought since i owned a tablesaw
Wonderful design and works like a champ
Purchased a rear outfeed support and a left side outfeed support which installed flawlessly
This is a nice table saw however im a bit disappointed at the rip capacity as compared to its competitors
