The only con to such elegantlooking bottle is that it doesnt have any silicon part to hold so it may be slippery and you will leave finger prints on the glass so you will have to wash the outer glass more often

Ive tried borosilicate bottles from a few other companies origin and eldr specifically and found that they seem to be false borosilicate or extremely poor derivations of it because there is a weird unpleasant chemical smell emitted from inside the bottle when water is in it

That said i have never noticed this smell with boroux glasses or with any other vessel i have used for that matter
