Pros
This is so beautiful and cuddly and warm. Even when it is warm i like to curl up to it. This blanket is super soft and super comfy.
It reminds me of the afgans my mom and grandmother would crochet. It's so soft and the perfect size. Very soft and exactly as pictured!
I need to wash it one more time to completely get rid of the smell and get it smelling as fresh as i like. Delicate cycle/cold. Held up well in the laundry. They wash easily too.
Cons
This blanket is not red it is burgundy. It is more on the thin side and cheaply made. Twice, i found one of my dogs stuck to it by their collars. The other was not and could not move with her collar tangled up in it.

I had a hard time at first finding a thick chenille maroon blanket that wasnt burgundy like wine or firehydrant red which would fit my red cabin style duvet set

I have tried to buy something like this through several different outfits already like ebay and wayfair and either the color was off or the blanket was not thick enough
