Competitiveness
I used this as a replacement for a torchiere lamp and it was awesome.
This one is a 200w equivalent and wow what a difference.
The original 300w bulbs were bright but all that power draw kept mucking up the contact points to where the lamp wouldn't work right.
What i like:-30w led replaces a 500w halogen in wall scones.
Looking at a color tempature chart, the led looks to be at least cool white if not coolor.

As you look at the light station, install right side first, then guide the left onto the small connection.

The halogens were markedly brighter, but in a yellow hue, while the leds were sharp white light.

It does not emit heat like the halogen.

Stop wasting energy and it will eliminate the fire hazard of the halogen stick bulbs as well.

Ii is indeed dimmable albeit it kicks in at about 50% and goes up from there.

My dimmer lamp with the halogen was the full range with its dial, but these led replacements don't work the same.
