Works great so far used it on multi day hiking trips in hawaii also have a crappier one i bought from walmart to compare it to and walmart one was half the price but worked but harder to clean out and harder to fill and get full and harder to hold when trying to add iodine tablets by yourself and the drinking hose was harder to use

Theres a thick plastic tab on the front and just under the screw cap noticeable from the photo

If i tried keeping the mouthpiece of my old bladder in my mouth then water would shoot back into my throat every time my backpack got a good jostle which is not ideal when hopscotching across mossy stones to avoid fording a rushing stream

I also have one like the picture and while it looks like it may work i actually have it in the carrier i am not sure if it is going to work well

I started to blow the hose back into the bladder to prevent freezing that that worked well too

This is an excellent hydration bladder it feels sturdy not like it will tear at any moment
