It brings a cutoff timer so that calls last between 15 seconds and 2 minutes if the ata that you use does not have loop current disconnect

It connects to a standard telephone line and will pick up the phone when someone pushes the button

It has a configurable timeout but it also seems to recognize the hangup signal sent by the phone system when a call is disconnected
