For this price the lid should not be made of plastic and there should be lifetime warranty on all parts including the silicon seal

We bought the bodum columbia french press after buying the secura one which turned out to be horrible we ended up returning it

The only reason that i gave 4 stars is that you do have to be super careful when pressing it down as sometimes it spits coffee out
