Listening to it right out of the box it sounded very tiny with very little bass

Obviously you cant expect to get well extended chest thumping bass out of something this small but the bass really was disappointing

Worse yet the mids and highs while loudly present sounded very artificial

As expected there was virtually no output at all below 100 hz or so but somewhere in the 150 hz to 250 hz range the speaker produced essentially nothing but absolutely horrendous distortion as if the driver was getting pushed beyond xmax and bottoming out

At that point i decided it wasnt worth trying to salvage this thing so i boxed it up and returned it

I dont know if i got a defective unit or if these other reviewers just have never heard a decent sounding speaker system before but i found the device quite unpleasant to listen to
