Pros:- product is sturdy and comes in a protective case- good for magnification of objects but not for gia serial numbercons:- require a nice angle of light to make out the gia serial number; takes a little practice but can make it work; i would recommend a 30x loupe- not sure if its really a triplet lens because the center appears to be the only focal pointoverall:- functional as it is and i was able to use it to read gia serial number
