Pros
The blue yeti is famous for it's economical excellence. Awesome bang for your buck.
Even if you are not tech savy, this mic allows you to get the right sound without any fuss. Mic is very sensitive and catches all background noises.
The yeti blue microphone has one of the clearest and articulated sound from a usb. The sound is crisp and having a gain control right on the microphone has been great for testing different setups.
Cons
Headphone is not the same as beats headphones. If you breathe on the mic, it falls right out. It has connection issues with mac and will constantly disconnect itself.

We tried to make it work with cheaper mics on amazon but ended up just going for it with the yeti

Well first and for most please go to your sound settings on pc then click below your yeti saying device properties then advanced device properties should pop up more settings go to advanced and make sure it says dvd quality not cd quality if says cd click and change to dvd it makes the mic sound a lot better

I would expect better from people who record music this is very clearly marketed and sold as a vocal mic

If you want to record music you should probably get a mic thats designed for that

But it doesnt warn you about this sensitivity and one thinks that the cardioid option would just pick up a speaker in front of it and cancel side and back but no chance
