Audio from this mic was better than the built-in mic on my macbook. Good enough for gaming, typical zoom/google meet/skype et al. The front has the output volume for easy adjustment and the light is on the mute button.

Hope you find it hopeful. Getting 7 years out of something with this price point is incredibly impressive. The build quality is incredible impressive, as well. Overall, this microphone provides excellent fidelity for the price.

The blue yeti usb mic is too noisy for professional voiceover work. It disconnects if you so much as breathe on the wire. It only stops when the mic is muted. The mute button has to be pressed 5 times to get it to actually mute.

The ringing is even louder than any playback. It bothers me that the metal build quality did not extend to the volume knob. The sound gate is abysmal!
