Pros

The mic sounds great. The 3 recording modes make it ideal for me to just plug in to my laptop, fire up audacity and record the sessions live. You can also opt to turn it off (make the mic unidirectional) if desired.

Cons

The sound of the mic is a bit low and there is no mic boost option. It emits garbled static noise while on the -10 padded setting. The shear quality drop off from this vs a logitech gaming headset is astronomical.

The frustration and rage that blue's practices as a business, along with their horrendous customer support, is way too much for this hunk of junk to be worth it. The software on their website is literally a gains bar. Absolutely misleading and awful.

At this point, i just want it to work or a refund. Don't buy blue. Either buy this product directly from the creator or stay away from it. Going to go with a blue yeti instead.

Love the snowball sounds every bit as good as a yetti i also own a yetti but i use this mic instead it has better compressions

It sounds like a professional microphone at a fully affordable price

This isnt a highend super expensive piece of equipment

But if you know what youre doing this can deliver professional results at a fraction of the price
