Great at cutting glare on sunny days. Comfortable on top of prescription glasses. Fits well over prescription specs or smaller magnifying specs. Nose pad and temple pad work well.
Used fo sat nav in car. Good for driving.

They are photosensitive and lightly shaded so i guess they never go completely clear
