I'm giving this four stars because i haven't actually tried it out yet, but there are three important details missing from the instructions and any online instructional video i've seen that you'll need to know about if you're not familiar with this type of rack.

Each unit has only one strap.

Here's my update after having used this rack for a few weeks: i bought this rack for my sup, and it seems like it's not designed for a board that wide.

Also, the free end of the strap from the unit at the front of the board where it's wider isn't quite long enough to reach the door on that side and can't be secured by closing the door on it.

Very difficult to get tight enough to prevent wind vibration while driving.

I might even return my roof racks i bought.
