The block sharpener straightens the blades, which is what i needed. It cleans my knives edges without taking the metal away! And works like a charm on serrated knives.

Works as advertised. This contraption really works. I advise watching the online videos if you're not familiar with how it works.

It's not super easy, but it's not majorly difficult either. Light weight, compact, does the job.

Sharpens quickly, effortlessly, and without risking grinding the steel down too much. It sharpens within minutes and puts the ponts back onto knives.

If only any of the videos represent what the darn thing does in real life good video terrible sharpener. Will not sharpen stainless steel well. It is ok to top off a semi dull knife but is not what you need to bring a dull blade back to sharp.
