However in my old set up i was able to stop watching a dvd part way through switch equipment off and then when i returned to watch the remainder of the dvd start where i had left off

Being hypercritical the blue on and red off leds are a bit bright and the lag between turning on and getting a picture is several seconds

In fact the full hd 1080 display not just hd ready means that the standard definition freeview tuner and the included dvd dont actually show off the display fully
