I am returning it because i do not want to sacrifice sound quality for the other functions
Design is ok but the sound quality goes down by so much that i feel like i got broken one

I would now stay away from this product and doubt its worth paying the shipping to have it sent back

I actually bought this for my audiotechnica athanc27 and it works like a charm
Audio plays but it seems quieter compared to the actual cable
It does add your audiotechnica headphones a microphone
Just to assure it wasnt my iphone connection i plugged in an old set of sonys from my office
