The paper is thick enough that i can use a rollerball or felt tip pen without ink bleeding through. The paper works very well with lanier 9000 series ballpoint pen refills. Noodles eel black ink works well on the paper.

The cover itself is sturdy and nicely textured. The plain black cover with elastic band holds everything in place if i go to a meeting.

I'm so bummed because i used these religiously and these changes make me really dislike the product now. It's so discouraging when companies cheapen their products, reduce their quality, at the expense of their consumer experience.

The cover is somewhat durable. The red cover sheet and misc. Platitudes peppered throughout. Recieved 8x11 (not as described) and not the shiny blck cover.
