The cover itself is sturdy and nicely textured. The plain black cover with elastic band holds everything in place if i go to a meeting.

The perforation is too much and the pages are easily ripped. Paper seems to lack the smooth coating of the paper featured in the german-made extra large poly cover ntbk. Paper is thinner and has logos all over it and the wire binding is much thinner.

It's more hassle than it's worth. This is very unfortunate.

The cover is somewhat durable. Random platitudes are peppered throughout. It says it's a 8-1/2 x 11, but we received an 8 x 11.

Notebook is not as advertised. These notebooks are definitely the dumbed-down, cursive-training only wide-ruled versions. Worst part is that the notebook has two rather massive bumps in the top and bottom corner.
