Hint all the modes worked well and could be figured out using the handy chart in the instructions

It said hold the button down 1 second

But if the light is on and you do that it will not cycle instead it will just gradually get brighter or dimmer

You have to turn the lamp off and then hold the button down 1 second and if you were in white then it will turn on colored

The turbo mode is great because you can set a nice dim setting for general use and then tap the side when you want to really light up the area then tap again to turn off
