Edit 1 i called bd simply to voice disappointment with the short life of the trimmer

She asked me to hold and when she returned she advised me that bd was sending a replacement trimmer without the battery because the trimmer was barely out of warranty and in any case should not have failed in this way

I purchased the lst140c model a little over a year ago and the motor burned up

I really cant blame the machine for it burning up because i had some pretty heavy brush and it took its toll

On that model it was able to be positioned at varying angles with the click of a button but this one is stuck in the same position
