Pros & Cons
Pros
Plastic blades are cheaper to buy than a new motor. Worked great to solve my problem of the blade freewheeling and therefore not cutting grass.
Cons
The price is beyond comprehension outrageous for a couple plastic squares. Life is difficult enough without companies harming people. This part is plastic and must be a attached to a quickly spinning metal blade.
Highlights
Quality
Works as advertised on my ancient bd lawn mower
Competitiveness
Way cheaper than buying a new mower
They are much cheaper to buy than a new motor

If you sharpen or otherwise maintain your own electric mower blades or fan most likely the reason youre going to do it is because youve damaged them by hitting hard objects while mowing
Posted by a reviewer on Amazon
In that case the blade insulator is also likely to be damaged since it is there to protect the rest of the mower by allowing the blade to spin somewhat independently of the drive shaft when its motion is stopped

As a side note its pretty likely that if youve damaged the blade youve also damaged the fan and you are at risk of overheating your motor if you dont inspect and replace it when you are minding the blade

They seem ok but dont seem to fit my lawn mower version

One is a circle the other is slightly different so double check the photo

They are plastic because they are made to give way or break if the spinning blade hits a rock or something

Silly original design but i suppose this has the same purpose as a sheer pin to protect the motor if you hit a rock or something
