Pros & Cons
Pros
The switch on this plug makes it easy and convenient. Saves on wear of the appliance main on/off control button.
And all i have to do is toggle the switch now and lights on and off. That little lit up part is handy when you step into a dark garage and are slapping the wall for the switch. Always been a big fan of toggle switches.
Cons
It smells of electrical and maybe something on fire! It's a big house and the smell was drifting, so it was difficult to even zero in on a particular room. Drywall above outlet was blackened.
