I was able to touch swipe control any all commands with the iphone still fully ensconced in mount
Its been a while looking this product
Tldr wouldnt recommend to a friend just because of the learning curve with the quickrelease feature but i really like it for myself
Price
Thus far i am completely stoked about this mount especially for the lightning deal price i paid for it
Packaging/appearance
Also really appreciate the minimalist packaging cute lil box with no extra wasteful paper or detritus

My only qualm is that the plastic rings that reach from around back and over the corners of the phone do not stay on well with my phones case on

I suspect it would work better with just the phone but i dont feel comfortable carrying my phone without it particularly on the bike

The first mount i received did not hold the phone in place

The second mount is very good the 4 slidein pieces actually snap into place with an audible click to let you know the phone is secure
