However i did not notice any reduction in drying time i used all six balls maybe i should use less and there was virtually no reduction in the amount of static after drying

If your intention is to soften your clothes this does the job but if you want your clothes to smell like commercial fabric softener then this is not for you because the scent of essential oils fade after drying
