    This makes it about a half inch wider than the camera's regular grip so from a comfort perspective it isn't quite as nice.

    I noticed that even while fully tightened down, pulling on the trigger side of the grip away from the camera sometimes disconnects its contacts.

    One strange thing i found is the battery release turns the camera off but having the gate physically open does not.
