The wood is more like a sticker on top of unfinished plywood. Every peice is scratched and chipped and there is a ton of pieces. Boards were all scratched up, missing screws, wrong labels.

I had also read reports of premature wearing through of the finish at the front edge of the desk top the finish is basically a photograph on paper and is paper thin
