The fan is silent you can ever notice is onjust unpack and is ready to use i plugged directly to cigarrete ligther and worked ok

Ive tried a few of these 12v to usb power converters and till i tried this one i found them to fail after a short period supplying power to the phone while using it in gps mode

Maybe its my lack of understanding of the amperage needed but i got this in hopes of being able to plug in my air compressor or circular saw but the power pulsates and remains at such a low level that it seems impossible to run anything of significance

It would be nicer if it could throttle down if there is no load on the inverter
