The chess pieces are appoximately 1-3 inches tall.

I checked other chess sets and they were very expensive and the pieces and the board were very small.

Product is as described, more than adequate for most applications, meets official standards.

I didn't give it that 5th star because one of the pieces (the white king) was bent, looks like it melted.

The quality of the all-plastic pieces are very good, and the rubber mat was neatly rolled into the box package it came with and without any kinks nor flairs on the edges which would be a problem once it's laid on a flat surface.

Here's hoping that this package has no direct effect on another totally different order which potentially could be losing pieces.

You can, just barely, if you're really trying, fell a tiny seam on the pawns.
