I was worried the head size would be huge like a normal tripod it wasnt

Sometimes those cameras look silly on huge tripods

When the legs are spread out the monopod does not sway on flat surfaces

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

One thing to note is the bottom blue base that connects all 3 legs and the legs themselves are actually plastic

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

It turns smoothly holds up smoothly no hands when i need it to i do have a light camera though and my only complaint isnt entirely the monopods fault as im using an lx100 the cameras too small for the mounting plate cameras fault and its a real pain getting the mounting plate to mount monopods fault as the knob to tighten it bumps into the camera

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

I have to twist the camera and risk typically do loosening it from the plate to give the tightening knob room to turn

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

It was important to me to be able to work alone

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

Great for your large aperture nonstabilized prime lenses on dslrs and mirrorless cameras the high quality lenses which you cant use handheld
