I purchased this to see if it would work with my gopro hero which it did not but it ended up bending one of the prongs in the charging port and now it will not charge or connect to my computer

If you didnt know the gopro hero doesnt have a removable battery so now i am out 140 from buying this and the camera that no longer works

There is something seriously wrong with this mic and adapter tried a known working mic with adapter and that dont work either i think the manufacturer has the wires backwards or something does not work with either my gopro 4 nor a dslr camera however if i pull the plug out until its just one segment touching i can sometimes get it to pick up noise so be wary on purchasing i will be returning this
