It does not come with a plug adaptor but worked with the one that came with my phone

My only problem is the slightly wide housing around the lightning end is too big for one of my phone cases so i have to remove the case to charge the phone

I would add my recommendation to make sure that you get this directly from amazon so you know you are actually getting the legitimate brandname belkin product and not a knockoff claiming brand name status even if that way is a little more expensive
