    I discovered some years ago that all surge suppressors are not created alike, when i had some stuff destroyed by lightning, even though it was plugged into a surge suppressor.

    I have had to replace them every few years, i'm not sure why, possibly because of lightning strikes or power surges that made them stop working without destroying any of my equipment.

    This model has an on-off switch on the side, and it has the round plugs at the end where you can plug in your internet or coaxial cables, but it does not have the rotating swivel plugs like the previous model that i bought.
