This * is very small and does not stay lit long. The problem is the lid doesn't stay closed. Definitely would not recommend or buy again.

Although this smoker does a good job its small capacity limits what you can put inside of it

I like the idea that it has a removable inner cannister but it just needs to be a larger size in my opinion

Its just a stainless cylinder perforated with holes sides and bottom

My process lay two pellets in the bottom of the empty canister

The butane flames easily reach through the 316 perforations and once i can tell the fuel is burning i place it in the smoker

No lighting fuel and trying to shove it in the smoker without putting it out or burning myself
